I’ve been in the Professional Counseling space for 40 years, with a background that includes Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, Employee Assistance, Adult & Juvenile Drug Court, Criminal Domestic Violence (CDV Court), as well as contracted services provider for U.S. Federal Probation & Parole and the South Carolina Department of Probation & Parole.

At this point in my career, I’ve decided to spend my remaining years in the Pretrial Diversion space; helping my clients get criminal charges expunged from their record. It’s very important to me that my clients understand that I don’t view them as “criminals”. I see them as amazing people, with unlimited potential; but they made a poor choice, thus my services and skill sets are needed to get them “back on track” – and that’s what I do well.

My clients are always surprised that so much of my course content is focused on “thinking and introspection” – and they have discerned correctly. I’ve intentionally pointed them “inward”, because that’s where their answers dwell. I’m here to coach them through this “momentary detour” on their “Journey”.
